Re@dNotify

Hey, check this out.  I’m into information security and this got my attention:

Using ReadNotify, you can create self-destructing emails, block printing of your emails, track MS word/excel documents and even PDF documents. You will also know if your e-mail had been forwarded.

It’s pretty simple, according to their website. Plus, It’s legal, no spyware, malware or viruses…. But it would be nicer if they can also track OpenDocuments. But, oh well, I guess, you can’t have everything. (Especially in this windows-blinded-world.) But I think this is pretty cool. (Re@dNotify, I mean, not the windows-obsession.) Particularly the self-destructing e-mail. it’s about time people realize how unsafe the internet really is, particularly when it comes to information sharing. But of course, a security-obsessed world wouldn’t be too good either.
